Dr. Ted Barile was born in Cortland, New York, and raised in Ballwin, Missouri. A lifelong athlete, he grew up playing competitive hockey throughout the St. Louis area with the Kirkwood Stars, Affton Americans, Chesterfield Falcons, and AAA Blues. He went on to compete at the junior level as a goaltender for the Flint Jr. Generals in Flint, Michigan.

Dr. Barile attended the State University of New York at Morrisville and Missouri Southern State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He continued his education at Logan University, where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2023.

In practice, Dr. Barile specializes in soft-tissue therapy and employs the latest evidence-based techniques, including Active Release Technique (ART), Graston, Dry Needling, and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy. He integrates these modalities with spinal and extremity adjustments to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Dr. Barile currently serves as the team chiropractor for MLS NEXT Pro’s St. Louis City2 soccer team and is an associate chiropractor for the NHL’s St. Louis Blues.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Barile remains active in the hockey community. He coaches for the Chesterfield Falcons, plays in local recreational leagues, and serves as an Emergency Backup Goaltender (EBUG) for the St. Louis Blues. When he’s not at the rink, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Conner, and their two dogs, as well as hiking, watching hockey and soccer, and staying involved in the local athletic community.
